David Steven Rappoport writes mystery novels.

His books are humorous and witty, featuring eccentric characters, outrageous but intriguing plots, obsessive word play, and pointed social satire.

David is the author of two plays produced Off-Broadway, and has also written for radio and television. His novel, Husbands and Lap Dogs Breathe Their Last, was published by Mainly Murder Press. His short story, Leftovers, was a winner of the Mystery Times 2015 competition, and is featured in an anthology of winning stories from Buddhapuss Ink. He is a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts: Creative Writing program at Goddard College. David lives in Chicago.
